Borchi® Dragon high-performance catalyst is a cobalt-free drier that allows for low volatile organic compound (VOC) coating formulations that utilize high-solids, long oil alkyd resins. Borchi® Dragon is REACH compliant and reduces the need for through driers, providing a more sustainable option to decrease dry times. While Borchi® Dragon is a drier catalyst, this product acts as more than a drying solution by improving performance, including brighter whites, enhanced wrinkling prevention in thick film builds, good corrosion resistance, and better wet adhesion compared to traditional cobalt driers.

Borchi® OXY-Coat is a metal-based, high- performance cobalt-free drier catalyst for alkyd paints, composites, and inks. It demonstrates fast drying times at low- use levels in short, medium, and long oil alkyd paints, as well as in composites and inks. This solution does not require the use of auxiliary driers. Cobalt-free driers are eco-friendly drying solutions as they do not contain any metals that face regulatory concerns.
