Guidelines for the Requesting Organization

  • Should be an IRS-recognized charitable organization, 501(c)(3).
  • Should use funds to support the organization’s work; events to raise funds for the need will not be considered. See below for more information on requesting event sponsorship.

Application Process

  • Grant applications can be submitted starting November 1 for consideration for the following year’s grants.
  • Once the grant window closes on December 31, we review all applications and present them to the Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation Board of Directors.
  • Grant recipients will be notified in April.
  • Our aim is to provide grant funding to all approved requests by May 31.
