Associate Giving Spotlight: Becca Barnett
A Company that Cares.
Here at Milliken & Company, our associates, and the communities we call home matter to us, and we strive to support them in any way we can.

One initiative enabling our associates to invest in communities and causes they are passionate about is the Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation’s Associate Gift Match Program.
Through this program, associates like Becca Barnett, Manager of Corporate Strategy, eagerly take the opportunity to make an impact in their communities.
Becca passionately supports the Children’s Cancer Partners (CCP) in her role as a Board of Director. The CCP provides financial assistance for lodging, food, travel expenses and other related costs to help relieve the financial burden for families. This helps families focus less on the financial implications of treatment and more on their child’s health and wellbeing.
“I support this cause because I believe that nothing should divert attention away from a child’s health and happiness during such a stressful time. I give because I believe in the mission of Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas,” Becca said.
Later this year, Milliken will host an on-campus 5K charity run in support of Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas. Scheduled for November 16, participants can enjoy the beauty of the Milliken Arboretum, located at our global headquarters in Spartanburg, while contributing to a worthy cause. “I believe that investing in and connecting with our communities is a part of Milliken’s DNA,” Becca said.

To those considering charitable giving, Becca suggests, “Find what brings you joy and makes an impact, then focus your giving to those areas. I do believe that in that way, your impact will be larger.”
