Even an efficient delivery of water to the roots of plants poses an array of challenges in the Agriculture and Turf & Ornamental (T&O) industries. Water management issues include run-off, moisture uniformity in the soil profile, decreasing water availability, manpower costs, budget demands, environmental concerns, and regulatory restrictions.

Soil Surfactants are commonly used to help address these challenges in highly managed turf applications where poor moisture uniformity in the soil leads to issues such as localized dry spots (LDS).
