RESIST XTR™

RESIST XTR is a high chromatic orange explicitly designed to meet the extreme colorant performance required for demanding applications such as high-voltage battery connectors in electric vehicles (EVs). Color coding is essential for clearly identifying such parts from a safety perspective.

Customers can formulate the desired RAL 2003 shade using RESIST XTR Orange with multiple high-performance polymers, including:

• Polyamide 6
• Polyamide 66
• Polyamide 46
• Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT)
• Polyphthalamide (PPA)
• Polysulfone (PSU)

Features/advantages include:

• Thermal stability up to 300°C or more
• Improved lightfastness and weather resistance under UV exposure
• Brilliant colors to hit chroma color targets
• Maintains key electrical properties of the polymer
• Excellent performance/compatibility with other additives and fillers such as glass fibers, glass beads, halogen-based and halogen-free flame retardants, and short- and long-term heat stabilizers.
