If we could sum up our 2024 Milliken Honors Support Excellence Award winner in a few words, it would be “going the extra mile.”

Across our company, there are thousands of associates who, while not directly involved in daily manufacturing processes, contribute to our innovation portfolio in countless ways. From accounting and finance oversight to operational control needs, our enabler function associates are true unsung heroes, bringing excellence in their own field to make an impact in Milliken manufacturing. 

That’s exactly why we created the Support Excellence Award—to highlight all the ways Team Milliken contributes to our work as a diversified manufacturer. And Greg Facchine, in his role as Innovation Analytics Manager, made a significant impact in 2023. 

Demonstrating excellent performance that advances strategy and business results is central to the Support Excellence Award recipient. For Greg, his effects were amplified thanks to a collaborative spirit and thinking beyond the expectation. His ability to harmonize and analyze Milliken’s innovation portfolio enabled impactful decisions for new product development. He contributed to transformative process improvements that led to organic growth and drove efficiency through focused data integration across multiple systems. Using this data, Milliken’s Chemical Business has seen major strides in customer segmentation and resource allocation initiatives.
