On August 4, 183 job candidates attended Milliken’s second companywide career fair at 24 participating plants across the Southeast. Of the candidates attending, 107 were either offered jobs or invited back for detailed interviews.

Hiring events like this support the company’s growing production and business needs. Milliken—a 16-time World’s Most Ethical Companies honoree, a Forbes’ 2022 Best Midsize Employer honoree, and an EHS Today America’s Safety Companies recipient—planned to hire more than 250 associates at 24 facilities in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

“Milliken’s career fairs help us to connect with new people, tell our story, and share everything that Milliken has to offer as a career destination. Our positions provide pathways for associates to grow their skills, careers, and compensation.  And with our strong commitments to community and sustainability, it is an organization that people can be proud to work for” said Chief Human Resources Officer Craig Haydamack.

Milliken offers direct-hire opportunities with competitive wages and career advancement opportunities for technical, skilled, management and hourly positions. Benefits, which new hires are eligible for starting their first day, include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, paid vacation, on-site health clinic and more.

“At Milliken, we are committed to our people and ensuring their success,” shares Lamar Wood, human resources manager at Milliken’s Duncan-Stewart Plant. "We recognize that it’s what we do together, today, that will make for a better tomorrow."
